This bayonet is unique in the fact that it is a numbers matching bayonet. The majority of these bayonets were captured by the Soviet’s who sent them to their arsenals to be refurbished. Upon this process they blades and scabbards were separated into barrels and were mixed up. It is not easy to find good conditioned matching conditioned bayonets like these.
