The Hocking Glass Company (Anchor Hocking) made the fantastic Block Optic pattern. This lovely tumbler is in
Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks or mold damage.

Block Optic

Block Optic is stunning in its simplicity. This pattern was made by the Hocking Glass Company.
Block Optic was one of Hocking's best selling patterns.  It is a full service dinnerware pattern with many serving pieces included.  Block Optic was made  in crystal, green, pink, and yellow. Rarely found colors include clambroth greens (translucent jade), blue, and amber. Many of the pieces made are the same shape as another Hocking pattern called Cameo.  Pieces include butters, pitchers, various sizes of plates, both footed and flat tumblers in numerous sizes, goblets, sherbets,  candies, an ice tub, ice bucket, a mayonnaise, handled sandwich server,  platters, bowls, a vase, salt and pepper shakers, candlesticks, a tumble up set, and  kitchenware which includes leftover dishes, nut dishes, and a one pound butter.  Hazel Atlas also made a block pattern. We always referred to it as Hazel Atlas Block, but Gene Florence calls it Modernistic or "Colonial Block" in his depression glass book. This pattern is is very similar to Hocking's block pattern and matches it in color. The pieces of Colonial block fit in nicely with Block Optic
(particularly the kitchen items),
and are often added to sets.  Pieces made include a large heavy kitchen jug, butter tub, round butter, candy,  covered kitchen sugar and creamer, bowls, and thick goblets.
