Colonial Craftsmen Miniature Pewter Victorian Bassinet
With lovely, detailed filigree, this white bassinet measures 2" across at the base, and 3" across the top end to end. It is 1" high/deep and would be the perfect addition to your Victorian doll house.
My father and I worked for Colonial Craftsmen in Cape May, NJ in the early 1970's, before they were purchased by the Stieff Company. The founder Ken Ewer, endlessly creative, as part of his effort often researched museum pieces which were transformed into scale models for collectors. Ewer’s and my father's attention to detail were unsurpassed, as they created replicas of tin lanterns, coffee grinders with turning grinding wheels, teapots that pour and ultimately 100s more lead-free pewter pieces.
