Original WWI/WW2 German Bayonet Scabbard Tip Finial Police Bayonet 1908

Up for sale is the scabbard tip for a German scabbard bayonet. Sadly I do not know which exact bayonet this is for. My best guess would be for a WW2 German Polizei bayonet. Again, I cannot confirm this so please use the pictures and the measurements below to accurately guess if this is the piece you need.
The scabbard tip measures 3.5” long. The tip at its widest point measures just over 1” long. The tip at its most narrow point right above the finial ball measures just shy or .5”.
