Fresh from San Francisco estate sale
Police / Fireman long dress dagger with scabbard
Enlisted or NCO Feuerschutzpolizei (Fire-defense-police)
Eickhorn mark indicates 1935-1941 manufacture
Single edged, 9-3/4 inch plated blade remains
unsharpened & unmodified
The steel scabbard is very straight, worn but undented, has protected the blade well
The interior runner is present with a zero wiggle
The original throat retaining screw and frog lug remain intact
The ball remains perfectly round
Hilt has surface corrosion, blade has some as well
Checkered grip plates are very clean & undamaged with no wiggle
Approx 15-3/4" long overall when sheathed
