WWI Eickhorn Sawback Bayonet w/ Three Rivet Grip

Description

Here is a pretty nice example of this type of bayonet, the grip plates are in nice condition with no major issues.  There is some minor abrasions tot he metal parts but again, nothing of significance.  The button functions perfectly so no issues there either.  The scabbard shows some minor age and wear but overall pretty nice, it looks like it was in a hot attic for decades.  The leather frog is the one this bayonet came home with and matches the condition of the scabbard, old but still strong condition.  The blade matches the rest of the bayonet and shows minor signs of age and wear but nothing of major significance.  To be safe, check the pictures out, they are large so you can see all details.
This is from a friends collection who passed away a few years ago.  He was very aggressive in buying from the source, I wish he had written down the names of the vets and how the items were acquired.  I am a long term known collector/dealer/author so you can buy with confidence from me.
