WWII Eickhorn-Solingen German K98 Mauser Bayonet & Scabbard

WWII German Mauser Long Bayonet with Scabbard. Ricasso is marked with a
squirrel over
"Eickhorn
Solingen
". The blade is straight, tight, has not been sharpened, the tip is sharp, and is mostly clean except for the last 1 3/4" by the tip. Lock button is stuck. Minor speckles of surface rust on the pommel. The black enameled scabbard is solid with one dent, there is paint loss mainly on the front side, there is some white paint on the frog stud and the ball finial. Scabbard is a little tight. Leather washer is intact but is broken in two pieces. Length of the blade measures 9 3/4" (15/16" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 14 1/2", and overall in the scabbard it is 15 11/16".
