Description

WWII German Mauser M1884/98 Bayonet. Ricasso is marked "7257" on one side and on the other is "F. Herder ASN". The spine is marked "40" for 1940. The brown grips show light wear with a few scratches. The blade has 95% of the finish, it has not been sharpened, straight, tight, and there are a few blade nicks. The pommel is double Waffenamt marked "WaA253", and it has light surface rust on it. The crossguard also has some light surface rust

Lock button is functional. Length of the blade measures 9 7/8" (1" wide x 3/16" thick spine) and length of the bayonet is 15 1/18".
