A very nice example of a walking out (AKA Parade) Bayonet. If you have read the history on these daggers they are very interesting. They were basically the service mans equivalent of German officers Daggers. To be worn when on leave. Blade is slightly bent to one side but this minor defect does not interfere with the mounting and unmounting of the blade. Good Condition overall as shown. Having minor wear and age damage overall. Handle plates are excellent, everything is nice and tight original leather blade washer in place. Made by the legendary EICKHORN.. a very handsome dress bayonet here.
